Basti is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy in which a reservoir made from herbal dough is gently placed over a specific area of the body and filled with comfortably warm medicated oil. The oil is retained within the reservoir for a period of time, allowing continuous warmth and nourishment to penetrate the tissues beneath. This localized treatment is designed to soothe, lubricate, and revitalize the targeted area while promoting comfort and relaxation. Unlike a full-body Ayurvedic treatment, this service focuses on one specific area for approximately 30 minutes, making it an excellent option for clients seeking localized support or wishing to experience one of Ayurveda's most unique therapies. Depending on your wellness goals, you may choose from the following Basti treatments: • Hriday Basti – Applied over the heart center to promote emotional relaxation, ease tension in the chest, and encourage a sense of calm and well-being. • Janu Basti (One side) – A nourishing treatment for the knee that supports joint comfort, flexibility, and healthy movement. • Greeva Basti - A localized treatment for upper back and neck • Kati Basti – Applied to the lower or upper back to soothe muscular tension, stiffness, and discomfort while promoting spinal mobility and relaxation. • Yakrit Basti – Applied over the liver region as part of an Ayurvedic wellness approach to support the body's natural balance and rejuvenation. *This cannnot be combined with other areas* • Jatru Basti – Applied to the throat and cervical region to promote relaxation, comfort, and healthy mobility of the neck and surrounding tissues. Basti Therapy is often chosen by clients seeking gentle, localized care for areas that feel dry, tense, fatigued, or overworked. The continuous warmth of the medicated oil encourages deep relaxation while nourishing the tissues in a way that is unique to Ayurvedic medicine. General Terms & Conditions By scheduling or receiving services at DEVI DEVI Somatic Healing LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions: • Appointments are by reservation only. Please arrive on time. Clients arriving late will receive the remaining scheduled treatment time, and the full session fee will apply. • Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty by providing at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to the applicable cancellation or package policy. • Clients are responsible for providing accurate health information, including medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, pregnancy, or any changes in health that may affect treatment. Services are intended to promote relaxation, pain management, improved mobility, and overall wellness. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. • Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless prepaid through an approved package or promotion. Prices, services, and policies are subject to change without prior notice. • Client records and personal information are maintained in accordance with applicable HIPAA privacy laws and professional ethical standards and will not be disclosed except as authorized by the client or required by law. • Pregnancy Policy At this time we do not accept pregnant clients and do not offer prenatal massage services. Clients who are pregnant or become pregnant after scheduling an appointment must notify the office as soon as possible so that their appointment may be canceled. We appreciate your understanding as we operate within the scope of our current services. • Professional Conduct DEVI DEVI Somatic Healing LLC maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior. All services are strictly therapeutic and professional. Any form of sexual solicitation, sexually suggestive comments, inappropriate requests, indecent exposure, unwanted physical contact, harassment, threatening behavior, or any conduct that compromises the professional nature of the practice will result in the immediate termination of the session. The full session fee will remain due, and client will be permanently banned. Any individual engaging in inappropriate or unlawful conduct while on the premises will be issued a Criminal Trespass Warning in accordance with Texas law, and the Dallas Police Department may be contacted when necessary to protect the safety of the therapist,
